East Greenbush Central School District is looking for an anticipated Database Specialist in our Technology Department. This is a 12 month position 8 hours per day.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered College or University with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. 5 years of education or working experience with computer databases background, or applying statistical techniques to data, or working with relational databases (SQL preferred), or experience with web-based application development (ASP with database access preferred). The successful candidate must take, pass, and be reachable on the “List of Eligibles” for the Rensselaer County Civil Service examination for Database Specialist.
