East Greenbush CSD is accepting applications for an anticipated Groundskeeper at Columbia High School. Minimum qualifications: One (1) year of experience as a Laborer in park or grounds maintenance. Typical work activities are loading and unloading of materials and supplies as ordered by authorized staff. Warehouse-like environment will involve organizing and storing materials as needed. Candidates should possess adequate computer skills needed to maintain accurate records as to product inventory as well as maintaining files on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all products accepted by the District. Will perform other related duties as required. This person will also be required to perform laminating services for the District. Groundskeeper duties will also be required to perform grounds-related tasks, such as power weed trimming, lawn mowing, and general litter pick up as is feasible. Previous warehouse experience is preferred as is a valid NYS driver's license. When not working as a groundskeeper you may do other routine maintenance or cleaning work. Applicants must have working knowledge of ground maintenance activities, willingness to perform routine manual work; ability to follow oral and written instructions; physical endurance; dependability, and good physical condition.
