The ideal applicant will demonstrate a deep understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of young learners and have experience designing differentiated instruction aligned with the NYS Learning Standards. Additional qualifications include experience with early literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading, familiarity with the Workshop Model as a primary instructional approach, a demonstrated ability to support diverse learning styles through differentiated instruction, and a strong commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices.
