Clinical Coordinator/Site Coordinator Make a difference in a child's life leading the ECEC’s clinical staff and multidisciplinary class teams as a Site Coordinator for the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) Albany Site at 52 Corporate Circle. The site has three self-contained classrooms for preschool children with disabilities (ages 3-5). There is an integrated classroom at a nearby Early Childhood Center. Expertise in child development, as well as knowledge of various disabilities and methodologies is necessary. Successful candidates will exhibit the ability to interact with staff, families and students in a positive encouraging way, demonstrate a professional demeanor, patience, empathy and a positive attitude while possessing a desire to help others grow. Interpersonal, problem solving skills and commitment to the team model is required. Excellent clinical skills and ability to train and coordinate services is necessary.Clinical Coordinator Responsibilities:Monitors development, implementation, training and supervision of clinical staff for the agency. Coordinates communication across disciplines to facilitate implementation of services to achieve optimal student function, in collaboration with Curriculum and IEP Coordinators.Work with staff to ensure there is adequate therapy equipment.Assists/facilitates completion of required documentation (Education Medicaid, Supervision, etc.)Provide parent support/training as related to clinical interventionsCollaborates with Executive Director and other Administrative Team Members to assess and to implement new regulationsProvides input for professional development and training for educational and therapeutic staff; leads clinical meetings and encourages engagement of staff on committeesSite Coordinator Responsibilities:Ensures smooth functioning of Site.Oversees/coordinates programming of students at Site: admission, placement, transportation, program reviews, district and county communication, Annual Reviews, discharge, etc.Ensures classroom enrollment: referrals, visitations, enrollment of students Ensures families are engaged with their child’s program.Oversees health and safety of site in collaboration with the OCFS site director; ensures regulations are met (SED, CMS, OCFS, DOH, etc.) and inspections/licensure is maintained at Site.Supervises classroom staff (teachers, therapists, teaching assistants, aides).
