Special Education Teacher, Probationary2025-2026Eastchester High SchoolThe Eastchester School District is seeking certified candidates to fill two probationary positions of Special Education in the high school for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates should be dually certified in one of the following: Mathematics, Science, English, or Social Studies. The positions include co-teaching and resource room courses. Requirements:Dual NYS certification: Special Education/Students with Disabilities 7-12NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:10 month, two full-time positions (1.0 FTE)Salary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $62,620 - $86,668, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. Internal transfers will maintain their step and salary placement.*Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
