World Language Teacher (FLES) (Grades 6-8), Probationary2025-2026 Eastchester Middle SchoolThe Eastchester School District is seeking a dynamic candidate to fill the probationary position of World Language Teacher in the Middle School for to expose 6th grade students to a variety global languages such as Spanish, French and Italian. An ideal candidate would have prior related experience and a passion for teaching global languages. Requirements:Dual NYS certification preferred: Elementary/Childhood Education; French; Italian; SpanishNYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:10 month, full time probationary positionSalary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $62,620 - $86,668, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. Internal transfers will maintain their step and salary placement.*Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
