Special Education/Social Studies Teacher, Probationary2024-2025 Eastchester High SchoolThe Eastchester School District is seeking a dually certified candidate to fill the probationary position of Special Education/Social Studies Teacher in the high school.Requirements:Dual NYS certification: Special Education; History 7-12Experience with collaborative teaching and academic core are preferred.NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:10 month, full time probationary positionSalary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $61,939 - $146,440, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. *Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
