Special Education Teacher, Leave ReplacementBeginning February 2024Anne Hutchinson School The Eastchester School District is seeking a candidate to fill the leave replacement position of Special Education Teacher assigned to 3rd grade to serve in an integrated co-teaching classroom. Responsibilities include ensuring IEP compliance and monitoring progress toward student goals. Requirements: NYS certification: Special Education/Students with Disabilities NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms: Per diem leave replacement assignment beginning February 2024 Salary range: $61,265 - $144,847, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. Salary to be prorated at a per diem rate of 1/200. *Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
