An ideal candidate will be able to establish a warm, nurturing classroom environment, plan and execute rigorous lessons, as well as work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to best meet the needs of the students. Requirements: New York State Teacher Certification required. NYSED Fingerprint Clearance* Employment Terms: Assignment begins March 30, anticipated to be 4 weeks in duration. Salary: Per diem, 1/200th of step on the corresponding annualized scale, range begins at $60,360*Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
