Anticipated Vacancy:Adult Education - Part-time EveningsBusiness Education Teacher We are seeking a knowledgeable Business Applications Instructor to teach adult learners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging training sessions on various business software and applications. This role requires a passion for teaching others, excellent communication skills, and expertise in commonly used business tools. This is a part-time position to be held in person 2-3 evenings per week, 3 -4 hours per night between 5:30pm and 9:30pmLOCATION(S): Adult Learning InstituteQUALIFICATIONS: Experience: HS/GED diploma (Associate's degree preferred) with 6 or more years working with various business applications. Experience in a corporate or business environment is a plus.Technical Skills: High-level proficiency in at least one major business software suite (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace). Familiarity with other business applications is highly desirable. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way for the learners.Interpersonal Skills: Patience, empathy, and a desire to help others succeed. Key Responsibilities:Develop and Deliver Curriculum: Create and update training materials, lesson plans, and course outlines for various business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.).Instruct Adult Learners: Teach in a group setting with varying skill levels in a clear, patient, and engaging manner. Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.Hands-on Training: Facilitate hands-on exercises, real-world scenarios, and practical applications.Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and practical assessments. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest versions, features, and best practices of the business applications being taught.Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, addressing student questions and challenges effectively.GRADE LEVEL: Adult START DATE: September 1, 2025
