ANTICIPATED VACANCYTechnology Integration Specialist (1.0 FTE) LOCATION(S): CTI – Educational ResourcesDUTIES: Provide modeling for and/or mentoring of teachers in curriculum planning and delivery that engages students in inquiry and critical thinking skills through the use of technology resources (hardware, software, wireless, media, internet, video conferencing, etc.)Research, test and recommend software and new technology applications for use in component districts.Support all aspects of the NYSED ESSA plan as a member of the Educational Resources Division. This includes an expectation that this individual will work with other Staff Specialists to design, implement, and evaluate a variety of professional learning opportunities. Topics may include content standards, instructional practice, leadership, etc.Significant experience using computers and other technologies for instructional purposes in elementary, middle or secondary schools and/or significant experience assisting or teaching adults how to integrate technology in their instructional practice. QUALIFICATIONS: Holds a current NYS Teaching Certificate, 3+ years of teaching experience, SBL preferred.GRADE LEVEL: Secondary STARTING DATE: ASAP
