Position Type: Secondary School Teacher/TEACHER OF SPECIAL EDUCATIONLocation: Related & Itinerant Services - Various Locations TEACHER – SIFE – Itinerant (1.0 FTE)LOCATION(S): Dover (0 .5) and Webutuck (0.5) DUTIES: This position will provide support to students with interrupted formal education (SIFE) in a program serving schools in Dutchess County. Students will attend on a half day basis. Professional development in the BRIDGES Curriculum will be provided to the teacher throughout the school year. This is a new service and, as such, the successful candidate will be involved in developing, implementing and evaluating the program as it evolves. QUALIFICATIONS: Certification: English 7-12 or Literacy 7-12 and Bilingual Extension. Experience working with English Language Learners required. Experience working with SIFE preferred. GRADE LEVEL: Secondary STARTING DATE: September 1, 2022
