To provide 1:1 student assistance for a student with a visual impairment working under the guidance of a classroom or special education teacher. Will assist with braille under the direction of the Teacher of the Visually Impaired.To support a student with a visual impairment throughout the school day and across a variety of settings. Reinforce strategies and techniques taught by teachers and related service providers. Assist the student in navigating their environment, building, playground, and other activities.10-month position, Monday through Friday all school days; 6.5 hours/day, 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. approximately; additional hours are available if interest to assist student on the bus in the morning and afternoon.$15.20/hr. base, health benefits available
