TEACHING ASSISTANT INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS:Candidate must be NYS certifiedProof of commencement of NYS fingerprintingCandidate must have a strong working knowledge of the Google Apps for Education platformProvide instruction and assistance to students in the use and application of digital learning and instructional software toolsProvides assistance to students in accessing and utilization of computer resources, e.g., learning modules, Internet researchCoordinate and monitor the mobile technology computer resources (Chromebooks, iPads, etc.) remotely throughout the buildingPerform basic troubleshooting of computers, software and associated peripheral equipment; contacts IT as required and arranges for repairs and maintenanceAssist administration and teachers with buildings instructional technology goals to improve student achievementAssist in the preparation of lesson plans and teacher pre-planning sessionsPrepare and assist in the preparation of instructional and vocational materialsCoordinate with teachers for learning activities and sets up equipment in the various learning environmentsAssist and instruct students in various labsPerform other duties as assigned
