This is the beginning level of automotive repair and maintenance work. The duties do not include repair jobs involving skilled work except in the capacity of helping the Mechanic. Duties of a less complex nature are performed independently. Ability to drive bus and have the minimum driver qualifications below are a must.Minimum Qualifications:Currently possess a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with "P & S" endorsements. (Training is available for qualified applicants)A satisfactory driving record to include no more than two (2) traffic violations in the past three (3) yearsAbility to understand and follow safety proceduresMust be able to pass all required training required by the school district and the New York State Department of EducationMust pass police background records checkMust be able to perform preventative maintenance checksHave no known medical history or clinical diagnosis of any condition that could be detrimental to the safety of the students that will be transportedMust be willing to submit to and pass drug and alcohol screeningMust be twenty-one (21) years of age Position Qualifications: (a.)
