The Dobbs Ferry School District seeks a part-time instrumental Music Teacher at Springhurst Elementary School, effective immediately and for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year. The successful candidate is an instrumental music educator and musician with strong band background and is passionate about working with children and enthusiastic about collaborating with colleagues to further develop curriculum and pedagogy. NYSED certification K-12 music required. Proficient in the playing and teaching of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments; ability to imbed technology in music instruction; collaborating with members of the music department in presenting concerts at the elementary school and district-wide during the school day and evening hours.
