The Dobbs Ferry School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Social Studies Teacher at the Dobbs Ferry High School (Grades 9-12) effective August 30, 2023. This is a full-time, probationary/tenure track position. Appropriate New York State Certification Social Studies 7-12 required. Salary commensurate with experience and terms of employment are in accordance with the Dobbs Ferry United Teachers contract. Qualified candidates may apply via OLAS by May 25, 2023. Dobbs Ferry High School is a small, exemplary, four-year comprehensive school with a strong academic program serving a wide range of students. The school is accredited by the State University of New York and the Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools. Dobbs Ferry High School offers the International Baccalaureate degree. All of our students are enrolled in both IB MYP and IB DP courses.
