The Dobbs Ferry Union Free School District is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an experienced, highly qualified educational leader to serve as Principal for the Springhurst Elementary School beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will have a strong teaching background and a proven track record of elementary leadership and management with a deep understanding of how children learn; highly effective instructional methods particularly in reading; effective instructional improvement and professional learning; special education program implementation and oversight; parent, family and community engagement. New York State Certification as a School Building Leader is required.
