DCS is seeking candidates for a MS/HS Teaching Assistant to support students with disabilities in accessing general education curriculum. Teaching Assistants are valuable members of a student’s educational team as they are responsible for assisting students in the general education classroom as well as assisting teaching staff with making appropriate modifications to ensure student success. The successful candidate will be collaborative, patient and flexible and be comfortable working with students of a variety of ages and developmental stages.Certification requirements: Hold or be actively working towards NYS Level 1, II or III Teaching Assistant certification.
