TITLE:Teacher-High School Equivalency (Adult and Youth Programming)LOCATION:Chenango County JailREPORTS:Director of Career and Technical EducationTERMS:Full-timeQUALIFICATIONS:Certification 7-12 in the content area (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) or Special Education, or Adult Education. Excellent computer skills, organization and communication skills.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Responsible for providing instruction to incarcerated youth and/or incarcerated adults, as well as the ability to provide instruction and support for students in life management and career planning. These responsibilities might include, but are not limited to, GED job readiness, and/or trade specific fields of study.
