We are currently seeking a qualified ENL Teacher to join our team and play a key role in supporting the language development and academic success of our English language learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ENL instruction, a commitment to creating engaging and effective lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students. Position: ENL Teacher Location: Coxsackie-Athens Central School District 24 Sunset Blvd Coxsackie NY 12051 Type: Full-time Start Date: January 2025 Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ENL lessons to a diverse group of students. ? Monitor students' language proficiency and progress. - Administer NYS Assessments such as the NYSITELL and NYSESLAT - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters English Language development. - Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective language programs. - Work in collaboration with Building Leaders to ensure translation needs are met. - Provide constructive feedback to students and support their language learning journey. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field. ? Teaching certification (TESOL/TEFL/CELTA) is preferred. - Proven experience in teaching ESL/ENL to different age groups and proficiency levels. ? Strong intercultural communication skills. - Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for teaching.
