POSITION: Music Teacher Primary assignment General Music and Choir Full Time Probationary Appointment Coxsackie-Athens Middle School is seeking a dynamic music teacher to teach general music and help grow our choral program. Additional expertise in piano or other instruments preferred. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certified (or certifiable) in Music K-12. Familiarity with current research, methodology and learning standards in music. Previous background/experience desirable. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are examples of typical duties association with the position; but the list is not all inclusive, and other duties appropriate to the position may also be assigned. Delivery of vocal music program as well as Middle School choral program;Participation as required and/or able, on building and district curriculum or program committees; Participation in building planning/problem solving efforts as needed or required; Articulation of student program and progress to parents; SALARY RANGE: Per CBA
