Cato-Meridian CSD is seeking reliable and dedicated substitute teachers to join our team. Substitute teachers play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring continuity of instruction when teachers are absent. This position is ideal for individuals who are flexible, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with today's youth.Key Responsibilities:Implement lesson plans provided by the teacher or adapt activities to ensure classroom learning continues.Create a positive, safe, and engaging environment for all students.Supervise students throughout the school day, ensuring classroom rules and policies are upheld.Communicate with school administrators and follow school protocols and procedures.Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and any notable incidents.Qualifications:60 college hours or teaching certification.Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude.Ability to follow directions and adhere to lesson plans provided.Schedule: This is an on-call position.
