Cato-Meridian Elementary School is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated reading teacher to fill a tenure track for an anticipated vacancy available July 1, 2025. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of literacy development, a love for teaching children, and a commitment to helping all students succeed. This position focuses on delivering targeted reading instruction, supporting students at various reading levels and collaborating with classroom teachers to enhance literacy across the curriculum. Our school serves approximately 500 students in pre-kindergarten - Grade 6. Applicants must have NYS Childhood Education (Gr. 1-6) teaching certification.
