The Central Islip School District is seeking a High School Assistant Principal for the 2022-2023 school year.Candidates must possess:-Valid NYS Administrative Certification-At least 5 years teaching experience-An ability to provide student discipline as needed and follow-through with discipline referrals with teachers and parents-Knowledge of the construction, completion, and implementation of a Secondary Master Schedule-A strong background in curriculum and instruction-Knowledge of professional development-Educational background of an awareness of contemporary educational issues-Competence in educational leadership-The ability to interact successfully with staff and community-Consistent attendance record-Experience in improving student achievement
