Responsibilities:Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet students' needs.Provide direct instruction and support in academic, social, and emotional areas.Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.Conduct assessments and track student progress to inform instruction.Monitor and report on student progress toward specific IEP Goals.Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.Qualifications:NYS Grade 1-6 Special Education CertificationBelief in ensuring high levels of learning for all students.Starting Salary Range:Per Cortland United Teachers Contract
