Cold Spring Harbor Central School District is seeking an engaging and student-centered Elementary Health & Physical Education Teacher who is dual certified in Health and Physical Education and thrives in both large group settings and inclusive classroom environments. Responsibilities : Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction in both Health and Physical Education Design and implement lessons that support inclusive practices, including co-teaching and small group special education settings Foster a positive, structured, and safe learning environment with strong classroom management skills, especially within large cohort groups Create innovative, student-centered health lessons that promote wellness, decision-making, and lifelong healthy habits Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to meet diverse student needs Build strong, meaningful relationships with students that promote engagement, trust, and a sense of belonging Qualifications : K-12 Physical Education and Health required. Students with Disabilities certification preferred. Coaching experience preferred.
