Utilize 3D printing, coding, and other technology tools to enhance student engagement and deepen their understanding of STEM concepts.Collaborate with colleagues to integrate STEM concepts across various subject areas, demonstrating how these concepts connect to and enhance other areas of study.Deliver STEM lessons across elementary buildings in the District, ensuring curricular alignment and equitable opportunities for all elementary students districtwide.Participate in regular staff meetings, curriculum planning sessions, and schoolwide/districtwide initiatives to promote cross-disciplinary learning and community building.Work closely with building leadership, executive director for technology, STEM director and assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction for the purpose of assessing and enhancing the integration of STEM initiatives, identifying areas for program improvement, and ensuring alignment with districtwide educational goals and standards.Maintain strong communication with families through regular updates, conferences, and engagement activities, ensuring that parents are informed and involved in their child’s STEM learning journey.Develop individualized strategies to support the academic and personal growth of each student. Use assessment tools to track student progress, identify areas of improvement, and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.Develop and deliver interactive lessons that integrate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts in ways that are age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.Create a classroom culture that promotes a growth mindset, where mistakes are seen as opportunities for learning. Support students in developing resilience, persistence, and curiosity in the face of challenges.Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in teaching, STEM education, and technology.
