F/T Probationary School PsychologistRequirements/ Position Description:-NYS Certification required-Doctorate in Psychology preferred-Administer and complete initial and triennial psychological evaluations-Present psychological reports at Committee on Special Education meetings-Work closely with faculty, administrators and parents to address academic and behavioral needs of students-Manage a counseling caseload of mandated and non-mandated students-Facilitate Instructional Support Team (IST) meetings; demonstrate knowledge of RtI/MTSS frameworks-Manage progress monitoring data on all IEP goals-Create and present social/emotional learning activities and mental health curriculum initiative through classroom push-in sessions-Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, faculty, and administrators-Serve as a CSE/CPSE Chairperson-Demonstrate a successful track record identifying and addressing the needs of all students through a comprehensive program of support services-Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills Cover letter may be addressed to Mona Hecht, Assistant Superintendent for Counseling, Student Services & Human Resources.
