SALARY: $19.89 per hour REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GEDCarthage Central School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill six (6) classroom teacher aide positions. Teacher aides earn $19.89 per hour. Job duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:Assisting teachers in the correction of test papers, recording of grades, maintaining files, and preparing statistical reports;Proctoring and otherwise helping to conduct examinations;Performing simple clerical duties under close supervision;Good general intelligence; ability to establish good relationships with children and others; familiarity with classroom routine; above average clerical aptitude; ability to maintain discipline; tact; courtesy; good judgment; physical condition commensurate wth the demands of the position.Applicants can begin work after NYS Education Department fingerprint clearance and Board of Education approval.Carthage Central School District is an equal opportunity employer.
