Carthage CSD is hiring a COOK - MANAGER. This is a civil service position that includes the preparation and cooking of food on a moderately large scale and the supervision of personnel in the school lunch room. The successful candidate will also provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Facilities. The work is preformed under general supervision of the Food Services Director and Director of Facilities. ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING (Per Jefferson County Civil Service Office): Two years of experience in the preparationof food on a large scale; or possession of an associate’s degree with specialization in foods,nutrition, and institution management; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
