OVERVIEW: Provides both consultative and direct behavioral and instructional support to students, including those in special education Collaborates with general and special education staff to implement effective, evidence-based strategies across grade levels Part-time position (up to 25 hours per week) - rate: approx. $69.00/hourly CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Assessment & Intervention Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs Ensure timely completion of assessments and adherence to required timelines Data-Driven Decision Making Collect, analyze, and interpret student data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions Prepare reports on student outcomes and program effectiveness Collaboration & Consultation Collaborate with IEP teams, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student programming Provide consultation to general and special education staff on behavior and instructional strategies Coordinate services with families, school personnel, and outside agencies Staff Training & Capacity Building Deliver professional development and coaching on ABA strategies and positive behavior supports Develop resources to support effective learning environments Program Oversight & Implementation Oversee implementation of behavior support programs across settings Promote evidence-based practices aligned with state standards and initiatives Crisis & Behavioral Support Provide crisis intervention and direct behavioral support as needed Compliance & Ethics Ensure compliance with special education laws, regulations, and IEP requirements Adhere to Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) ethical guidelines Minimum Qualifications Valid NYS BCBA License Experience working with school-age students in a school setting (IEP team participation preferred) Willingness to complete required background check and fingerprinting
