Croton-Harmon High School has an anticipated opening for a probationary Math teacher in the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will be able to:Plan and implement curriculum in conjunction with the Math department designed to be personalized, engaging, and focused on developing skills and real-world applications. Be open to exploring interdisciplinary courses and approaches to teaching and learning.Utilize school and district resources such as instructional/pedagogical coaching to create engaging, future-focused lessons, units and assessments.Commit to ongoing professional learning and develop and adjust curriculum on an ongoing basis to meet students’ needs and interests.Stay current on best and burgeoning pedagogical and curricular practices.Commit to our district’s strategic coherence plan that centers on reimagining learning, pursuit of passion, and building a culture of wellness in a future-focused system.Plan collaboratively with colleagues and be open to sharing and learning with and from others.Create a personalized learning environment for students that meets individual needs and challenges students to reach their full potential. Have the ability to self-evaluate, be reflective and problem solve. Qualifications Education:Master’s Degree in Math/Math Education or similar. Experience:1-3 years of classroom experience preferred.
