Corinth Central School District is looking for a dynamic Library Media Specialist to lead our district-wide vision. This role offers a unique balance of leadership and stability, ensuring you have the support and home base you need to succeed.The Role & EnvironmentCentralized Home Base: Your primary office and "home" is at the Middle School/High School campus.Predictable Schedule: Instructional time at the Elementary campus one day per week.Built-in Support: Each library is staffed with two dedicated Teaching Assistants to assist with daily operations and student support.Key ResponsibilitiesResource Management: Curate a modern collection of print and digital materials district-wide.Collaboration: Partner with staff to integrate information literacy and technology into the UPK-12 curriculum.Engaging Instruction: Deliver relevant, creative lessons across multiple grade levels.Reading Promotion: Champion a culture of reading for pleasure and lifelong learning.QualificationsCertification: Valid NYS teaching license with a Library Media Specialist endorsement (preferred).Pathways: We will also consider candidates with other teaching certifications who are currently enrolled in a Library Media Specialist program and working toward credentialsJoin a district that values the library as the heart of the school!
