Corinth Central School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute UPK Teacher to join our early childhood team. This position supports our Universal Pre-K program by providing high-quality instruction, fostering a positive classroom environment, and ensuring continuity of learning during the teacher’s absence. Anticipated Assignment Dates: February 6, 2026 – June 1, 2026Responsibilities:Provide daily instruction aligned with the UPK curriculum and NYS Early Learning Standards.Create a nurturing, developmentally appropriate, and engaging classroom environment.Support the social, emotional, and academic growth of young learners.Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and administrators to ensure a cohesive classroom experience.Maintain accurate records, attendance, and documentation as required.Communicate regularly and professionally with families and school staff.Follow district guidelines, policies, and routines.Qualifications:Valid NYS Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth–2) preferred.Candidates with other teaching certifications or working toward certification may be considered.Experience working with young children or early learners is strongly preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
