BASIC FUNCTION: To instruct foreign language learners the skills to improve their English language proficiency.QUALIFICATIONS:A. Valid NYS Teacher Certification or Adult Education (English Language Learning Instructor) certificate.B. Experience working with ESL population.C. Must possess good written and verbal skills.RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To instruct students (18 years and older) within a small group classroom setting. 2. Provide adults with the requisite skills to improve their English language (i.e., reading, writing, speaking, and listening) proficiency.3. Instructors are expected to complete lesson plans, monthly reports, and other duties as assigned.
