LOCATION: Special Education – Multiple LocationsBASIC FUNCTION:Provide instructional and modified materials for visually impaired students. QUALIFICATIONS:New York State certification as Teacher of the Visually ImpairedExperience with visually impaired children in a school setting.The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001. RESPONSIBILITIES:Assessment, development of curriculum, instruction and evaluation of children who are visually impaired and enrolled in regular and/or special education programs.
