LOCATION: Educational Support Services – 900 Watervliet-Shaker RoadBASIC FUNCTION: To provide English as a New Language instruction to K-12 students making the transition from a native tongue to full literacy.QUALIFICATIONS:A. NYS certification as TESOL required.RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To provide instruction to small groups and individual English Limited Learners (ELL) students.2. To collaborate with classroom teachers of ELL students.3. To travel between schools and districts as neededSalary dependent on education, certification and experience as detailed in current contract prorated to amount of service rendered.The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
