POSITION: Teacher-Academic Integration-Science (Long-Term Substitute)LOCATION: Career & Technical Education – Albany and Schoharie CampusesDATE: Temporary position 2024-2025 school yearBASIC FUNCTION: Enforcement of previously introduced skills and implementation of daily classroom routines. QUALIFICATIONS:A. NYS teaching certification in Science; certification in General Science, Biology and/or Physics preferred.B. Willingness and ability to embrace new challenges and ideas and to work as an integral part of a team. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To teach science curriculum in a Career & Technical high school setting.2. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of educators to teach integrated science activities in the career and technical programs using the co-teaching model set forth by the New York State and BOCES services.
