LOCATION: Educational Support Services – Regional Summer School (summer school will be held at Niskayuna CSD & Berne-Knox-Westerlo CSD)BASIC FUNCTION:Duties include providing differentiated, direct instruction and remediation for middle and high school Science core courses that could possibly lead to a Regents program.QUALIFICATIONS: NYS certification in all areas of Science 7-12Experience in Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science preferred RESPONSIBILITIES:Curriculum instruction, supervision and evaluation of students in need of remediation.Students will require content and skills that will assist them in being successful throughout their summer school experience.DATE: July 8, 2024 thru August 16, 2024 - Monday thru Thursday @ 2-4 hours each dayThere will be a mandatory training on Mon. 7/8/24 and Tues. 7/9/24 from 8AM to 12PM at the summer school location you will be assigned to teach.FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT:Melissa Drummond-KerrickRegional Summer School PrincipalAssistant Director-Educational Support Servicesmelissa.drummond@neric.org(518) 464-3990
