This is an exciting, prestigious opportunity to drive innovation, enhance student engagement, and energize staff in K-12 STEM and Business education. Reporting to the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent, the Director will oversee curriculum design and development, instructional leadership, and strategic partnerships to prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving global economy.Key Responsibilities:Lead and innovate STEM and Business programs, ensuring alignment with New York State Learning Standards and best practices.Support a motivated team of K-12 teachers and administrators in implementing engaging, inquiry-driven, and project-based learning experiences.Expand CTE pathways, industry partnerships, and career-connected learning opportunities.Foster student agency, voice, and choice through hands-on, interdisciplinary STEM and Business experiences.Develop and deliver professional learning that further energizes and motivates K-12 staff.Use data-driven insights to enhance instruction and improve student outcomes.Ensure compliance with NYS graduation requirements, CTE regulations, and STEM assessments.Qualifications:NYS certification as a School District Leader (SDL) or School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS).At least 5 years of teaching experience in science or mathematics and deep knowledge of K-12 STEM standards and assessments.Proven ability to motivate and inspire educators to implement innovative instructional strategies.Experience fostering community and industry partnerships to enhance student learning.This is a transformative leadership opportunity for a visionary educator passionate about shaping the future of STEM and Business education.
