If you enjoy working with pre-school age children, please apply!$750 sign on bonus Responsibilities:Assist with providing physical therapy services to pre-school children on-site or off-site in collaboration with Physical TherapistConduct Physical therapy sessions as directed Collaborate with classroom team to develop and implement appropriate lesson plansCommunicate children’s progress and difficulties with parent/guardianWork with other therapists and staff to ensure children are receiving appropriate servicesMaintain appropriate interactions, play activities and implement positive behavior managementMaintain accurate administrative records and documentation in a timely manner and keeping with OCFS regulationsConduct IEP/IFSP conferences with parents/guardians and pertinent team members Communicate progress of child to Early Intervention Service (ages 0-3) and the Committee of Preschool Education (ages 3-5). Complete final reports/annual progress review, make recommendations for IFSP/CPSE services.Assist with interns as neededAttend staff days and all required trainingsPromote an environment of belonging and inclusion Requirements: Education: Associates degree as Physical Therapist Assistant and New York State certification required. Pediatric experience preferred. Valid and clean NYS driver license is required. Reliable vehicle.
