A Child's Place at Unity House of Troy, has opportunities available for Master’s Level Special Education Teachers with B-2 certification in our Special Education Department. Responsibilities:Assess the needs of young children with special needs in the Preschool Special Education classroom.Address educational and behavioral needs based upon individual children’s using knowledge in evidence-based practices.Adapt behavioral plans accordingly.Work with a supportive multi-disciplinary team. Work collaboratively with all staff and administration to benefit the needs of all the children.Perform student assessment and evaluation required.Promote a classroom of inclusion and belonging. Requirements: Master's Degree and certification in Students with Disabilities Birth to Grade 2. Proficient writing and computer skills, ability to support behavior plans. Must have reliable transportation.
