New York State School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Administrator (SDA) Certification is required and experience in Special Education is preferred. Program preparations begin in February/March, most of which can be completed remotely on a flexible schedule. The Principal is expected to be on-site from 8:30am – 12:30pm during the daily operations of the six-week ESY program, which runs from July 7 - August 15, 2025. The program may extend past August 14th if make-up days are necessary, in order to meet the 30-day requirement. This is a half-day morning program for students with IEPs, as recommended by the CSE. Applicants must be available to meet program obligations beginning in February/March through the end date of the program.
