Cooperstown Central School District is searching for a committed, student-centered professional who wishes to work in a supportive learning community. Be a leader among those in a dedicated team of educators as our School Psychologist. SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST: NYS School Psychologist certification is required. Experience in behavioral psychology is desirable. This position is full-time, ten (10) month employment with a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary rage $40,000.00 - 80,000.00, commensurate with experience and the Agreement with the Cooperstown Central School Faculty Association. General Statement of Duties: The primary function of the School Psychologist is to provide preventive, diagnostic, and counseling services for individual pupils and groups of pupils and to provide parent and teacher support/consultation. These services will enhance understanding of self and increase effectiveness in dealing with the educational and social environment.
