The Director of Curriculum is responsible to the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction for the coordination and implementation of the district’s academic programs. General policies of the programs are reviewed by the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and approved by the Superintendent of Schools. The Director will have expert knowledge of curriculum and instruction with insights regarding Math, Science and Technology at the secondary level.The Director will be able to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness. The Director will demonstrate the ability to coordinate district functions including budget and personnel management as well as policy and procedure implementation.The Director will be able to expertly interpret data and collaborate effectively with building and district level administrationThe Director exhibits a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and the interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community.
