Connetquot Central School District Director of Instructional Technology Primary Responsibilities The Director shall: Provide leadership for district-wide Digital Learning, instructional technology, innovation, IT support, data management, and professional learning initiatives. Develop, implement, and evaluate technology initiatives that support district goals and enhance teaching, learning, and student achievement. Lead the integration of instructional technology into curriculum, instruction, and assessment through collaboration with administrators, faculty, and staff. Plan, coordinate, and oversee professional learning opportunities that promote the effective use of instructional technology and emerging educational practices. Direct the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of instructional technology systems and services. Coordinate with district leadership to develop and maintain technology infrastructure, long-range technology plans, budgets, and related resources. Monitor emerging technologies, educational trends, and best practices and recommend innovations that advance district instructional goals. Maintain required records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal technology-related requirements. Supervise, support, and evaluate assigned personnel in accordance with Board policy, administrative regulations, and applicable collective bargaining agreements. Oversee the Library Department and provide leadership for the district's Computer Science and Engineering programs. Participate in district planning, policy development, and administrative committees, and collaborate with school and district leadership to achieve strategic objectives. Prepare reports and presentations for the Superintendent, Cabinet, and Board of Education as requested. Perform such other duties as assigned by the Superintendent consistent with the responsibilities of the position. Salary: Competitive and Commensurate with Experience
