The Canajoharie CSD is currently accepting applications for a full time, 8 hour per day Custodian. Applicants must meet requirements for Montgomery County Civil Service Custodian. The following are some, but not all aspects of the position: Sweeps, mops and waxes floors and stairs, washes walls, windows, sinks and other fixtures; performs other cleaning duties; Cleans and mops lavatories and locker rooms; Paints rooms and equipment; Makes minor repairs to furniture, electrical fixtures, windows and window shades, locks, faucets, heating system and other equipment; May operate a light motor vehicle in transporting supplies, equipment, food and mail; Receives, moves and stores incoming school supplies; Arranges chairs and tables and other equipment for special use of school building; Performs a variety of errands and related custodial tasks; Other duties requested by the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds.
