The Canajoharie CSD is currently accepting applications for a part time, 4 hour per day Custodian. Applicants must meet requirements for Montgomery County Civil Service Custodian and qualify on the competitive Custodian list. The following are some, but not all aspects of the position:Sweeps, mops and waxes floors and stairs, washes walls, windows, blackboards, sinks and other fixtures; cleans erasers, dusts and performs other cleaning duties;Cleans and mops lavatories and locker rooms;Paints rooms and equipment;Makes minor repairs to furniture, electrical fixtures, windows and window shades, locks, faucets, heating system and other equipment;May operate a light motor vehicle in transporting supplies, equipment, food and mail;Receives, moves and stores incoming school supplies;Arranges chairs and tables and other equipment for special use of school building;Performs a variety of errands and related custodial tasks;Other duties requested by the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds.Interested applicants should complete their application through OLAS and upload a current resume.
