The successful candidate will be crucial in ensuring that our educational programs are aligned with state standards, research-based best practices, and the evolving needs of our diverse student population. Additionally, it is essential that the successful candidate demonstrates excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.The responsibilities include: management of the evaluation of building principals and directors, facilitation of the hiring process for administrators, management of all New York State reports, assistance with the management of grants, management of the district’s Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) process, development of the professional development plan for the district, facilitation of the new teacher orientation process, oversight of the selection and implementation of instructional materials and resources, supervision of ENL and Guidance department, supervision of the integration of technology into the curriculum, management of all professional development offered in the district, development and coordination of all district plans, facilitation of the use of students assessment data to inform instruction and budget management, coordination of the school to community communication concerning instructional initiatives, oversight of the staff use of the district approved parent communication platform, the routine delivery of presentations/reports to the Board of Education and community, oversight of the administration of all NYS assessment requirements in the district, and other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.
